GENESIS stands for
Global Education Network for Supporting Indian Students
It is a community and student-led initiative that aims at mentoring students in India about opportunities in India and abroad with the help of Indian professionals and students around the globe.
A large number of Indian students do not have the right guidance and awareness about global opportunities. If you take the example of Germany, the public universities offer world-class education and have no tuition fees.
However, what percentage of students in peripheral regions of India are aware of this excellent opportunity?
How many talented students in rural areas would feel confident in applying to such universities?
Such opportunities exist in different parts of the world. That is where experienced students and professionals would help the students in India through the GENESIS Initiative. The aim is to promote awareness so that every deserving student has a chance to avail global opportunities.

GENESIS will provide the Indian diaspora with a platform to contribute to India's education sector. Indian Diaspora members already guide the students that reach out to them. They take guest lectures in the institutes in India they are associated with. However, this information may not be available to students in other regions. Hence, our focus is to create a network so that career guidance reaches every part of India.
